Wyvern is making something big. Our vision is to provide actionable intelligence from space, anywhere in the solar system. To achieve this we need to entirely reimagine how satellite Earth observation is done.
We are a rapidly growing space company in Western Canada, powered by humans who are passionate about space and building a better Earth, from space.
If you’re excited by the prospect of being part of the space industry and want to build software that makes a difference now…
WHAT WE’RE WORKING ON
Wyvern is developing…as well as managing, an expanding fleet of satellites that image the Earth every day. With three satellites in orbit already and more on the way, the software team has a vital role in making the fullest use of our in-space assets, and building (+ automating!) the processing pipeline for the highest-resolution hyperspectral images for sale on Earth today.
The software team’s role includes building APIs for internal use and the human-friendly tooling that uses them; building and maintaining APIs that interact with our external partners to direct imaging; and processing the hyperspectral images that arrive from our constellation.
We also assist with scheduling and tasking, capacity planning, and more.
