You Will Work With

• The Data Analytics team to generate data insights and reports
• The Engineering Team to build and manage data ingest pipelines and setup data process to support marketplace transactions
• External customers to understand and manage their data requirements and pipelines
• Sales professionals to help inform their strategies
• Marketing professionals to facilitate relationships with new and existing clients, stakeholders, and third-party vendors
• Customer success teams to manage customer relationships and ensure success
  

Who You Are

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Technical Business Analyst to join our team of data analysts to inform strategic decisions. You will have the opportunity to learn the business and discover how to support external customers and internal stakeholders with data to back business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients by understanding their data needs and expectations. Provide clear and timely communication, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines. Monitor and optimize data flow for accuracy and reliability, and collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new data sources.
• Clean and standardize data for consistency and accuracy. Upload data to the database, maintaining data integrity and security, and work with teams for seamless data integration.
• Building ingest pipelines using standards such as EDI and xCML. Collaborate with vendors for efficient data exchange and troubleshoot any issues to ensure compliance.
• Conduct data analysis to provide actionable insights and support decision-making. Create reports and visualizations to communicate data findings, and identify trends for business growth and improvement. Support senior management with data-driven recommendations.
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, demonstrating a deep understanding of data management and analysis.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with clients and other stakeholders, demonstrating articulate communication and relationship management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including expertise in pivot tables, vlookups, and complex data reconciliations.
• Proven track record of using data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau and Power BI to provide strategic insights and forecast future growth.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases and conducting complex data analyses.
• Proficiency in Python, including Python Pandas, for data manipulation and analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts and ideas to stakeholders across various levels and departments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated success in leveraging data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
• Must be a Canadian citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident.
