Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled, experienced and proactive Product Owner to join our core production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and product management, with a proven ability to define product vision and drive projects to successful completion.

Reporting to the COO, the Product Owner will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role within a software development environment.
  • Experience with requirements and solution engineering for digital products
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Proficiency in product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Empathetic and conflict resolution mentality
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to synthesize information and prioritize business goals, combined with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Experience with user research and usability testing.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken).

Responsibilities:

  • Product roadmaps:

            o    Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.

            o    Gather and prioritize product requirements from various sources, including clients, users, and  internal teams.

  • Action plan creation: 

          o    Create and maintain detailed product backlogs, ensuring clarity and prioritization of features and user stories.

          o    Guides the client through our product development process and manages their expectations

  • Client & in-house team communication: 

          o    Primary point of contact for the client (facilitates communication among all stakeholders and  product teams with the goal to define product roadmaps and develop business cases and success metrics; updates the client on product progress (time & budget); addresses concerns)

          o    Shapes stakeholder requests into well-defined and ready-to-build features within the scope of the product vision

          o    Work closely with development teams to ensure clear understanding of product requirements and timely delivery of high-quality features maximizing the business value of the product

          o    Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and differentiation.

  • Product briefs:

          o    Facilitate user testing and gather feedback to inform product iterations and enhancements.

  • Requirements gathering:

           o    Cooperates and coordinates with the Project Manager to ensure that all client requests and priorities are clear, and collaborate on user story grooming

           o    Ensure that products meet business objectives, user needs, and technical feasibility.

           o    Gathers customer feedback to validate that the product works against established metrics

  • Stakeholder interviews:

           o    Monitor and measure product performance, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying best practices to product development processes.
  • Tracks scope from high-level
