We help small business dreams come true by making it easy for lenders to say “yes” to small business borrowers. Through sophisticated algorithms and predictive modeling, our application allows lenders to adjudicate loans quickly and accurately. This in turn ensures that small businesses get access to capital they need to grow. Yay!
Who we are looking for.
You are a Product Manager who has worked in a SaaS startup environment with all the thrills and challenges that brings. You have been a product owner and have worked with a small pod of developers, QA’s and others. You could be based anywhere in Canada but candidates from Vancouver will have an advantage. We have a JUDI.AI office near downtown Vancouver and most of your colleagues come in 2-3 days a week. . Ideally, you have previous banking or fintech experience but this is not a hard requirement.
What you will do:
- Identify and manage new features and releases through the full product lifecycle;
- Deliver high-quality product releases on a high frequency and iterative basis;
- Work with the Customer Success team and directly with clients to identify opportunities and improvements and define new features from initial concept to requirements to delivery;
- Build, groom and maintain sprint backlogs in JIRA to ensure we’re always ahead of the game;
- Work closely with technical leads to define and communicate a tactical project plan that delivers the most value as early and as frequently as possible;
- Identify product and technical issues and recommend and track solutions;
- Work with the leadership team and other product staff to continuously update our processes, the product vision and the product roadmap.
Your qualifications:
- Product management or product development experience in a web application environment;
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends;
- Hands-on experience creating and leading tech products; doing research, writing user stories, requirements docs, creating flow charts, wireframes, creating presentations for varying audiences, including executives and clients, defining roadmaps and creating release plans;
- You enjoy getting your hands “dirty” and digging into the details, be it to define a new feature or figure out the business impact of a defect;
- You are comfortable with uncertainty and experience navigating unchartered water or starting a new initiative;
- Experience working in an agile environment with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment;
- You know how to manage the changing requirements of a product and can prioritize bugs, technical debt, and new features within a backlog;
- Great communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
