About the role
At the heart of any organization are its people. At the heart of the Rise platform is its People People Directory. It’s a single place to manage all employee records and organizational hierarchies that feed into every product we have. It’s where companies onboard their staff, store mission-critical documents, and connect the dots across the employee journey.
Our Product team is looking to hire a modern Product Manager dedicated to this area. This role comes loaded with high-leverage projects, engaging problems to solve, and an opportunity to make a profound strategic impact.
The day-to-day
- Discover and define the problems and opportunities for us to pursue.
- Prioritize and sequence six-week projects and other small improvements, resulting in a dynamic product roadmap.
- Use evidence and customer stories to get buy-in from your teammates and evangelize the product vision.
- Pair up with a Product Designer and a team of Engineers to collaboratively come up with creative solutions to customer problems and deliver them within business constraints.
- Help empower Rise’s Go-To-Market and Client Experience teams to effectively sign on new customers and keep the ones we have.
About you
- 2+ years of Product Management experience — SaaS, marketplace, or consumer apps preferred.
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentations, demos, etc.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with Design and Engineering in a fast-paced environment to solve customer problems.
- Skills and the desire to be close to customers: interview them, gather feedback, study product usage data, and learn what excites and troubles them.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and shape customer problems to be solved.
- Completely comfortable with common product metrics and KPIs, and the ability to learn from analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to lead without authority and rally teammates toward accomplishing ambitious goals.
- Experience working with stakeholders to understand their needs and validate solutions.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, a growth mindset, and a team-focused mentality.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

- The salary range for this position is $85-105k, based on experience. Plus, stock options.
