Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager that is highly driven and organised, detail oriented and with the ability to operate across multiple tasks concurrently. Ideal person would be a self-starter, hungry to learn, who is keen to deliver real impactful change to our clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Planning, organising, and managing software deployment and augmentation projects for Symphony AI customers in Financial Services.
• Key focus on delivering to the key measures such as the schedule, quality, scope, financials and client satisfaction, while following the internal processes.

Responsibilities:

• Project budgeting, planning and control, including the development and maintenance of the project plan, defining scope, objectives and the timelines,
• Coordinating with the stakeholders to support requirements gathering and ensuring project alignment with customers’ goals
• Help to allocate resources effectively, ensuring team members are assigned to tasks based on their skills and availability
• Reporting on project status, including progress, risks, issues, costs, roadblocks to senior managers and key stakeholders
• Identifying potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines, cost and overall success; and assisting in developing mitigation strategies
• Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders (external and internal customers) and active management of the customers’ expectations through appropriate communications reporting, assurance and governance.
• Facilitating effective communication between project team members, other Symphony AI units and clients
• Providing support to fellow project managers, leadership and regional delivery teams.
• Supporting to the sales and account management team in renewals, extensions and business development cross-selling opportunities.
• Close down of the projects at the end of an engagement, including personal performance reviews, project lessons learned etc.

Skills & Experience:

• Project Manager with 1 – 3 years of experience within software delivery or/and the financial services industry.

• BS in business, management or related field
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies
• Experience in project planning and scheduling, control and financial budgeting & tracking

• Great verbal and written communication skills and experience in stakeholder management
• Experience in working with the stakeholders and teams in different locations and time zones
• Experience in Banking, Fraud, Insurance and Compliance sectors will be highly regarded
• Strong Delivery Experience is an asset
• Experience with Proof of Concepts or SaaS deployments is an asset

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members, stakeholders and clients.

• Formal Project management qualifications / certifications will be an asset
