We build AirLogic, AirAware, and Mobil apps, an analytics platform aggregating data from private and public sensors to help our customers understand site and regional GHG and air quality. Using AirLogic, our customers identify and resolve problems at their facilities, speed up compliance reporting, and act on insights to meet their emissions reduction goals.

The successful candidate will help build and grow the business, participate in earned ownership opportunities, and grow our business from start-up to scale-up and beyond. As a Data Scientist/Business Analyst:

● Define business problems and requirements and manage the analytical project lifecycle.
● Gather and ingest data from different sources. Design, build, and maintain data pipelines.
● Interpret datasets to detect trends and patterns. Develop statistical analysis and predictive models.
● Develop data visualization dashboards and use other tools to present data insights.
● Support business intelligence strategies with quantitative analysis
● Assume technical ownership of entire projects, systems, applications, and services.
● Uphold our high engineering standards.
What we’re looking for:
● BS in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
● Experience with any or all of the following: Python, R, SQL, Javascript, HTML/CSS,
Vue/React, REST APIs, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.
● Experience with Remote Sensing and Geospatial datasets, formats, schemas, and
processing.
● Experience with collaborative platforms (e.g. GitHub, GitLab).
● Knowledge of data science, machine learning, and statistical models.
● Knowledge of cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure) infrastructure (GCP preferred).
● Thriving in a fast-paced and collaborative environment that iterates quickly on new
ideas.
● Desire to develop the best industry software development skills while building an
impactful product.
